Relationship Intelligence Software for Individuals in 2026
Relationship intelligence software for individuals: what Affinity, 4Degrees and Introhive do for firms, what they cost, and what one person can use instead.
By Brett Kaufman. 8 years using relationships to build sales pipelines, from political fundraising to a 7 figure business to running matchmaking for two communities. Over 1,000 introductions facilitated.
Relationship intelligence software for individuals barely exists as a category: Affinity, 4Degrees and Introhive are built and priced for firms, and they work by mapping a whole team’s email and calendar. One person can get the same answers, who is going quiet, who to reach and who can introduce whom, from a personal tool built around their phone.
Here is the scene. You left a fund to search on your own, or you run a one person advisory shop. At the old firm, the system told you which relationships were cooling and who on the team knew a target’s CFO. Now you have a laptop, a phone with 1,200 names, and nobody flagging anything. You go looking for the same thing, sized for one. You find demo forms.
What is relationship intelligence software?
It is software that reads communication activity, scores how strong each relationship is, and shows warm paths to people you want to reach.
The three biggest names describe it in their own words:
- Affinity says it captures “every email, meeting, and calendar interaction across your firm automatically,” scores relationship strength from real communication patterns, and “flags what’s going quiet before it costs you the deal.” It is built for private capital and says it is used by 3,300+ private capital firms (affinity.co).
- 4Degrees says it “automatically analyzes how frequently and recently you’ve interacted with a contact through emails, meetings, and shared calendar events,” and will “surface everyone on your team who has a relationship” with a company or person (4Degrees relationship intelligence).
- Introhive calls itself a relationship intelligence platform and focuses on professional services: legal, accounting, consulting and the built environment (introhive.com).
Notice the common word: firm. The intelligence comes from many people’s inboxes added together.
What do these platforms cost?
As of October 28, 2026, from each vendor’s own pages:
| Platform | Published price | Billing | Individual plan |
|---|---|---|---|
| Affinity | $2,000, $2,300 or $2,700 per user per year; Enterprise custom | Annual | Not listed |
| 4Degrees | Not published, per user per month | Contact form | Not listed |
| Introhive | Not published | Book a demo | Not listed |
| FRONT OF MIND | Free for 25 contacts and 1 intro, then $29 a month | Monthly | Yes |
Prices change. Check each page before you buy. For one person, Affinity Essential is $2,000 a year against $348 for twelve months of FRONT OF MIND, but the feature sets are very different, which is the point of this page.
Why does firm relationship intelligence strain for one person?
Because its two best features need a team.
Warm paths need colleagues. “Who on my team knows this CFO best” is a great question with 30 inboxes connected. With one inbox, the answer is you or nobody.
Email is not where your best relationships live. The broker you text, the owner you met at a dinner, the CPA who sends you sellers. Many of those threads are in iMessage, on a business card, or in a conversation you never wrote down. A tool that reads your inbox sees a slice.
Someone has to own the system. Firm platforms reward an operations person who keeps lists, fields and pipelines clean. Solo, that person is you, at 11pm, after a site visit.
None of this is a flaw. These tools are aimed at a firm and do that job well. If you run a team, read FRONT OF MIND vs Affinity and FRONT OF MIND vs 4Degrees for the honest side by side.
What should relationship intelligence software for individuals do?
It answers the same questions, sized for one, from the places your people actually show up.
Here is the translation, feature by feature:
| Firm feature | What it answers | One person version |
|---|---|---|
| Activity capture across the firm | When did we last talk to them? | Last real touch per person, including texts and events |
| Relationship strength score | Who is cooling? | A daily list of who is going cold, with the reason |
| Warm intro paths through colleagues | Who can get me in? | Ask your own network: “who do I know at that company?” |
| Signals and news on contacts | Why reach out now? | Posts, job changes and news, confirmed to be that person |
| Deal pipeline | Which deals are stuck? | Quiet deals flagged after a week, with a draft to restart them |
That last column is the part most comparisons skip. Firm platforms show you a score. One person needs a decision: who, why, and what to say, in ten minutes.
How should you test any tool for individual use?
Ask these five questions in the demo or the free plan. If the answer to any is no, it was built for someone else.
- Does it work without a team? Every feature should be useful with one account.
- Does it see past the inbox? Texts, events and people you met once.
- Does it give a reason, not just a score? “Going cold” is a score. “You met at a dinner 12 days ago and never followed up” is a reason.
- Does it draft, and do you approve? You want the text written and nothing sent without you.
- Can you leave with your data? Export and delete, without a support ticket.
If you are comparing personal tools more broadly, which AI personal CRMs actually tell you who to contact scores the field on question three.
The version built for one
I built FRONT OF MIND because the one person version did not exist. After 1,000+ introductions across two communities, the hard part was never storing people. It was knowing who to reach today.
It opens on your 10 minutes for today. Each person has a one line reason: they posted, a birthday, you met at an event and never followed up, a follow up is due, a pipeline deal has been quiet 7+ days, their company was in the news, or they are going cold. Posts only show up if they are confirmed to belong to that person.
Every draft is a text style message, 40 words max. Nothing sends without your tap, and it learns from your edits. Ask Liala “who do I know that is an M&A advisor” and get the right people with why. Intros to make this week come with dated proof on both sides.
Where it strains: no shared firm network, no team pipeline, no partner reporting. It runs in your phone’s browser and saves to your home screen; there is no native iPhone app yet. Your contacts are encrypted. No one on our team looks at them. Export and delete anytime.
If FRONT OF MIND doesn’t surface people in your network worth reaching out to within 72 hours, we’ll refund you. No questions asked.
Start free with your first 25 contacts and see who comes up first.
