Best Personal CRM for Android, Checked on Google Play

The best personal CRM for Android, compared on real Google Play data from October 2026: ratings, downloads, last update, free plans and what each app does.

By Brett Kaufman. 8 years using relationships to build sales pipelines, from political fundraising to a 7 figure business to running matchmaking for two communities. Over 1,000 introductions facilitated.

The best personal CRM for Android depends on the job: Cloze has the strongest Google Play record for relationship history, Covve is best for scanning cards and badges, and HubSpot is the free pick for a deal pipeline. If you want to be told who to text today, with the text drafted, that is FRONT OF MIND, in your browser.

Full disclosure: I built FRONT OF MIND, and it has no native Android app. So I checked every other listing on Google Play myself on October 28, 2026, and I will tell you where they beat mine.

The same app can be rated very differently on each store. Dex is 4.4 on the App Store and 3.7 on Google Play. If you carry an Android phone, the Play listing is the one that predicts your experience.

How do the Android personal CRMs compare on Google Play?

Here is the data, pulled from each Google Play listing on October 28, 2026.

App Google Play rating Downloads Last updated Free plan
Cloze Relationship Management 4.4 (1,589 ratings) 100K+ May 17, 2026 Yes, after trial
Covve, Personal CRM 3.9 (960 ratings) 100K+ Oct 16, 2026 No, 14 day trial
Dex, Rolodex and Personal CRM 3.7 (285 ratings) 10K+ Oct 26, 2026 No, 6 day trial
HubSpot 4.5 (13,617 ratings) 1M+ Oct 22, 2026 Yes
Mesh: Contacts + CRM Not enough ratings shown 1K+ Oct 22, 2026 Yes, up to 1,000 contacts
Contacts by folk CRM Not enough ratings shown 500+ Oct 27, 2026 No, 2 week trial
FRONT OF MIND No Play listing, runs in the browser First 25 contacts

Ratings and downloads move every week. The pattern is what to take away: Cloze and Covve each have 100K+ Android downloads, while Mesh and folk show only hundreds to low thousands.

Which Android personal CRM keeps the best relationship history?

Cloze, if your relationships live in email and calls.

Cloze’s homepage lists a native Android app with call and text sync, plus Gmail, Outlook and Microsoft 365 integrations. It builds one timeline per person without data entry, and it is the best rated personal CRM on Google Play in this group. Per its pricing page, Cloze Pro is $17 a month billed annually or $19.99 monthly, with a 14 day free trial, and you drop to a free plan with contact management and email inbox afterward.

Its last Android update was May 17, 2026. Check that it still fits your Android version before you commit.

Which Android CRM is best for business cards and badges?

Covve. Capture is what it is built for.

Covve’s homepage covers scanning business cards, event badges and LinkedIn QR codes, plus adding contacts by voice, online or offline. Offline matters on Android in a hotel ballroom with weak signal. Per Covve pricing, Essential is $12 a month or $119 a year and Pro is $20 a month or $199 a year, and Pro adds event badge scanning and the web portal. 14 day trial, no free plan.

What about Dex, Mesh and folk on Android?

All three are on Google Play, each with a caveat.

  • Dex lists web, iOS, Android, macOS, Windows and a Chrome extension on its homepage. It is a clean rolodex with LinkedIn sync and keep in touch reminders. The Play rating trails its iPhone rating by 0.7. Premium is $12 a month billed annually, per Dex pricing.
  • Mesh (formerly Clay) has the best free plan in the category: up to 1,000 contacts with reminders, birthdays and job change updates, per Mesh pricing. The Android listing is published by Automattic, Inc, the company named on Mesh’s site. Mesh’s pricing page still names only macOS, web, Windows and iOS apps, so Android looks like the newest piece.
  • folk is a team CRM. The Play listing says you can “sync and search contacts” on the go. If you share a pipeline with a partner, it fits. If it is just you, it is more CRM than you need.

Is HubSpot a good personal CRM on Android?

It is the strongest Android app here and the weakest fit for a personal network.

HubSpot’s Android app is the most installed in this group, and its free CRM covers up to two users and 1,000 contacts with no expiration. But it is built around companies, deal stages and email marketing. The intermediaries who send you deals rarely become a record, so they go quiet inside it.

What do you actually need from a CRM on your phone?

Before you install anything, run this five point check on your own Android phone. It takes one evening.

  1. Capture in 10 seconds. After a dinner, can you add a person and one sentence of context before you reach the car?
  2. One screen in the morning. Does it show who to contact today without scrolling a list of 1,400 names?
  3. A real reason. Does each name come with why today: a post, a job change, a deal gone quiet?
  4. A draft. Is there a message you can send in under a minute, short enough to be a text?
  5. Your phone, your send. Does it go out through your own messages and only when you tap?

Most Android apps above pass the first check. Almost none pass the third and fourth.

Where does FRONT OF MIND fit on Android?

It runs in your phone’s browser, so it works on Android without a Play Store install. There is no native app yet. You can add it to your home screen from your browser so it opens like one.

It opens on your 10 minutes for today. Each person has a one line reason why today: they posted, it is their birthday, you met at an event 9 days ago and never followed up, a follow up is due, a pipeline deal has been quiet 7+ days, their company was in the news, or they are going cold. Every person comes with a draft written like a text, 40 words max. Nothing sends without your tap, and it learns from your edits.

At an event, say a name and a sentence out loud, snap a business card or badge, or take a selfie together, and it is filed under that event. Ask Liala out loud, “who do I know that is an M&A advisor,” and get the right people with why.

Where the others beat mine on Android. Covve scans offline. Cloze syncs calls and texts natively. Mesh holds 1,000 contacts free. FRONT OF MIND has no offline mode I can promise you, no Play listing and no team pipeline.

Contacts are encrypted. No one on our team looks at them. Export and delete anytime.

  • You come home from events with a stack of cards: Covve.
  • You want a free address book that updates itself: Mesh, once its Android app has a track record.
  • You want a free deal pipeline: HubSpot.
