Blinq Alternative for Deal Makers: FRONT OF MIND vs Blinq
Looking for a Blinq alternative? Blinq hands out your card. FRONT OF MIND tells you who to text after, with drafts and intros. Honest October 2026 comparison.
By Brett Kaufman. 8 years using relationships to build sales pipelines, from political fundraising to a 7 figure business to running matchmaking for two communities. Over 1,000 introductions facilitated.
Pick Blinq if you want the best way to hand out your own card: a digital card, an NFC card, wallet passes and email signatures for you or your team. Pick FRONT OF MIND, a Blinq alternative for what happens after, if you already have the names and need to know who to text today, why, and what to say.
Full disclosure: I built FRONT OF MIND. So here is exactly where Blinq is better, from its own site, as of October 2026.
Here is the moment most people search this. You tapped phones with 30 people at a conference. Your card worked perfectly. Every one of them has your details. Two weeks later, the question is not whether they can reach you. It is whether you reached any of them, and which three were worth real money.
What does Blinq do well?
Blinq calls itself “the AI contacts platform for the real world,” and promises to help you make a great first impression, remember who you meet, and keep the follow up moving. (Blinq) Its strength is the handoff, and it is very good at it.
- Your card, everywhere. Digital business cards, NFC cards linked to your digital card, QR codes, Apple Wallet and Google Wallet, smart watch sharing, home screen widgets, email signatures and virtual meeting backgrounds.
- Capture in the room. Its universal scanner reads badges, paper cards, QR codes and LinkedIn profiles, even offline.
- Enrichment and notes. Blinq says its AI searches 25+ live sources for a contact’s photo, title, phone, verified email and LinkedIn. It saves where you met, when and what you talked about, with tags, notes and an AI Notetaker that writes a transcript, summary and next steps.
- Team tools and sync. 20+ native CRM integrations, including HubSpot, Salesforce and Microsoft Dynamics, admin controlled email signatures, CSV export, and SOC 2 Type II and GDPR on every plan. (Blinq pricing)
- Native apps. iOS and Android.
- A real free plan. Free includes two digital cards and unlimited sharing.
If your job is handing out cards for a sales team and syncing every badge into Salesforce, Blinq is the right tool. FRONT OF MIND does not have a shareable digital card of its own, team admin, or CRM integrations.

What does FRONT OF MIND do that Blinq does not?
FRONT OF MIND starts where the card ends. It opens every morning on your 10 minutes for today: who to text, and a one line reason why today.
- Research on what your contacts posted this week. LinkedIn, X, Instagram and the news, shown only when confirmed to be that person, and dated. You never congratulate a banker on someone else’s promotion.
- Drafts in your own texting voice. Short texts, 40 words max. Record your voice once in Settings and it learns from your edits. Nothing sends without your tap.
- Intros with dated proof on both sides. Intros to make this week, each with a current reason for both people, so the intro lands as useful, not random.
- A weekly report. Messages sent, replies, meetings booked, deals, and the best story of the week, so you can see which text turned into a meeting and which meeting turned into a deal.
- Event capture that ends in a text. Say a name and a sentence out loud, snap a business card or badge, scan a LinkedIn, Instagram or badge QR code, or take a selfie together. It is filed under the event, with a follow up text that includes your booking link.
- Ask your network. Ask Liala, “who do I know that is an M&A advisor” or “who lives in Miami.”
Where is the money in the follow up?
The card gets you remembered for a day. The text gets you the deal. Say you leave a dinner with 12 new names, and one is an owner thinking about selling in two years. Here is how that turns into money.
- Who to text today and why. Four days later, she is on your list because you met at the dinner and never followed up. One line tells you why today, so you send the text before someone else does.
- The intro that pays you. She mentioned needing a quality of earnings firm. FRONT OF MIND shows an intro to make this week to an accountant you know, with dated proof on both sides. When the deal closes, both of them remember who connected them.
- The deal that finds you because you were recent. A broker posted about a new sell side mandate. It shows up dated and confirmed, with a 40 word draft. When he builds his short list, you are the name he heard from last week.
None of that needs a better card. It needs the right name in front of you on the right morning.

Is FRONT OF MIND a Blinq alternative, or do you use both?
For handing out your card, no: keep Blinq. For deciding who to follow up with, yes. Here is how I would run it. Share your card with Blinq, export the contacts you collect, and import them into FRONT OF MIND alongside your phone, Gmail and calendar. Then let it pick who to text each morning.
If badges are your main capture method, read how to get badge scans into your phone. For a scanner comparison, see FRONT OF MIND vs Covve, and every head to head is in personal CRM comparisons.
